Meet the ISS Team

ISS is comprised of a strong team of leaders working hard to continually enhance the benefits Elevation^TM provides to college athletic departments and professional sports teams. The ISS team is comprised of a group of individuals with a vast array of knowledge in sports business, finance and accounting, software engineering, and IT project management.

Leadership

Brian Cole, President

Brian is an MBA from the University of Oregon's Warsaw Sports Marketing Center. He also received a BBA in Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Wisconsin.

Brian's background in the sports industry includes working in business development for the Boston Celtics, a financial modeling project for the University of Oregon Athletic Department, and independent consulting projects focused on sponsorship best practices and evaluation.

As a former consulting actuary, Brian brings a vast array of knowledge in financial management including budgeting and forecasting business segments worth over a half billion dollars. He also has significant experience developing customized tools to analyze these pieces of business.

Since Fall 2006, Brian has led ISS in developing our Elevation brand software. Elevation ushers in a new era in business efficiency and effectiveness. During this time, Brian has also built relationships with over 50 Business Managers and CFOs across the country in college athletics and with professional teams.

Jonah Turner, Chief Information Officer

Jonah graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He also completed a Graduate certificate in Leadership and Management from the University of Maryland, and recently completed a Master's certificate in Information Technology Project Management from the George Washington University.

Jonah has worked in various government programs, directing a wide variety of IT projects involving database administration, applications design and systems development. Over the years, Jonah has built a strong portfolio of technical projects featuring major complexity, broad scope, and wide impact.

Given his proficiencies implementing dynamic data-driven software applications and Web sites, Jonah has received a number of government recognition awards and has presented several papers at local, regional, and international conferences as both a contributing and invited speaker.

Josh Turner, Chief Technical Officer

Josh has led projects and architected solutions for the past 15 years. He is trained and experienced in all the popular technologies including Dot Net, Java, and Cisco. His endeavors cross platforms from workstations and servers to networking devices. Not only has he written commercial software packages, but he has designed and programmed the very hardware that runs them. He is the true definition of a software engineer.

Currently, Josh works as a technical consultant to help companies automate their business processes. He has spent the past five years working with enterprises to build financial products for the Web. His latest projects consist of a genetic-mating engine and a massive overnight batch processor used to manage retirement accounts.
