Innovative Sports Strategies (ISS) is an emerging solutions provider in the sports industry. We provide clients with results that increase business efficiency and improve the quality of information available to decision-makers. This is accomplished through the ISS core competencies of developing efficient methods to carry out internal processes, providing advanced analytical analysis of data sets, and creating state-of-the-art functional, intuitive, and aesthetically-pleasing web-based applications.
Evolution
Prior to the official company launch in May 2007, ISS worked directly with college athletic departments and professional sports teams to improve the efficiency, functionality, and subsequent decision-making information available in custom-built financial spreadsheets. As interest in ISS solutions grew, development began on our flagship software product, ElevationTM, a web-based financial management tool built to address the unique financial structure of sports industry organizations and to significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
In January of 2009, Elevation Beta was launched with the Budget & Forecasting Module. Later that month, the University of Oregon Athletic Department become the first ISS beta partner. Oregon State and Florida State signed on later in 2009 as the final two beta partners. In early 2010, the Accounting Integration Module was released.
Today, Business Managers and CFOs across the country are involved in the continued evolution of Elevation. The software is driven by the input of these current and future users. Beyond Elevation, ISS utilizes its rare combination of sports industry knowledge, analytical skills, and technological expertise to meet various needs.
